Lee Min Ho and Kim Go Eun will be leading in a new Korean drama with a working title, ‘The King: Forever the Monarch’.
The drama will be Lee Min Ho’s first project after being discharged from his mandatory military service. Recent reports have said that this will be the actor’s reunion project with the South Korean screenwriter Kim Eun Sook after ‘The Heirs’.
Meanwhile, Kim Go Eun will be his new leading lady!
After days of waiting, the drama producers have already confirmed that the two great actors will be teamed up for this new project. This will be their very first collaboration for the record. Lee Min Ho will be playing the role of Emperor Lee Gon, while Kim Go Eun will be playing as detective Jung Tae Eul. Both are said to be from different universe but will work together in order to lose the relationship of two worlds.
‘The King: Forever the Monarch’ is a fantasy romance drama that will start filming in the second half of 2019 and is anticipated to premier in 2020.
