BigHit Entertainment opens Global Audition in 8 cities

Internationally-renowned BTS and TXT‘s agency BigHit Entertainment has announced the dates for their 2019 Global Auditions to look for “individuals with talent and passion who will be the next global superstar!”

  • Beijing – 7/6, to be announced
  • Shanghai – 7/7, to be announced
  • Taipei – 7/13, 新北市新店區民生路45號 (莊敬高職(新店校區)小巨蛋) (JUANG JING VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL)
  • Sydney – 7/27, 82 Brighton Ave, Croydon Park NSW 2133 (The Korean Society Of Sydney)
  • Bangkok – 10/5, 19/14-15 Soi Soonvijai, Rama 9 Rd. Bangkapi, Huay Kwang, Bangkok 10310 Thailand (D DANCE Thailand)
  • Hongkong – 10/13, to be announced

The audition is divided into the following sectors: Vocal/Rap, Dance, Acting or Modeling and is open to applicants who were born in 1999 or later (20 years old or younger.) Those interested should sign up in person at the audition venues from 12:00pm to 13:30pm. 

Big Hit Entertainment manages BTS, the first KPOP act to win as the year’s Top Duo/Group in the recently-concluded Billboard Music Awards and TXT (Tomorrow X Together), which debuted earlier this year. TXT’s member

TXT debuted last March 4, 2019.

Huening Kai, a half-Korean and half-German raised in the US, is the first foreigner to debut under BigHit.

Aside from the Global Auditions, BigHit’s seasonal auditions are also being held in Tokyo, Seoul and Los Angeles. Seasonal auditions will run from April to December 2019. Visit https://www.bighitaudition.com/ for more information.
